Wow, I've been on here a day and I've gotten such a great response you guys. Thanks, I really appreciate it!

I'll be more active on here as time goes on. There's just so much to click on this site.

Today, I worked on getting a blog up and running on my own [currently in-the-making] site. Not much on there yet but I'll be updating it with painting progress and such. I'm also putting work-in-progress shots of my oil painting of Drawing 001 up on my Flickr. It's turning out to take on a new life from the drawing. I hope to get the same feel though. It's more vibrant in color, well, because the drawing doesn't have any. I tend to be that way - I like black and white (sometimes with red) or COLOR.

As you can see from what I have in my gallery so far, it's a mix of commercial/editorial illustration with more out-there, personal stuff. For those of you that commented on the weirdness of my images, more thanks. ^^

Right now, I'm concentrating on taking two painting classes, hence the surge of more personal works these days. I'm also studying to get into grad school (GRE, ugh!), and learning Korean and Mandarin (not that hard to learn - just really easy to forget!). I feel so much more studious now than when I was actually in school full-time. Funny how that works. I think school has its advantages, but then again, it can be very limiting.

Anyway, I'm off to work on my painting!
